TICE.PT is part of the consortium that coordinates the Cybersecurity Competence Centre

TICE.PT is part of the consortium that coordinates the winning Cybersecurity Competence Centre for the central zone, one of the seven competence centers at national level, developed under the C-Network.
This consortium also has the University of Aveiro (UA), as leader, and collaboration from the University of Beira Interior (UBI), the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (IPCB), the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL), the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT) and the Institute of Telecommunications (IT).
The new Cybersecurity Competence Centre, articulated with 5 Intermunicipal Communities (CIRA, CIMBSE, CIMMT, CIMBB and CIMRL) and with the support of close to 40 associations, municipalities and other entities, will have its dissemination session on June 19, Wednesday, during C-Days.
Led by University of Aveiro (UA) the  and operationalized in coordination with the National Cybersecurity Center (CNCS), this center (C-Network:CCC-Centro) will be developed until 2026 under the C-Network project, which "seeks to contribute significantly to increasing the resilience and cybersecurity of technological infrastructures in Portugal, expected to directly reach approximately 2000 entities, of which about 400 in the central area".
