The partners signed yesterday at the University of Aveiro the Consortium Agreement of the Digital Innovation Hub CONNECT5 in the presence of the President of IAPMEI, Francisco Sá

The TICE.PT Cluster, the CeiiA Interface Centers and the Telecommunications Institute, Colab DTx, and the higher education institutions University of Aveiro, University of Beira Interior, University of Coimbra, University of Minho, University of Porto, Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Instituto Politécnico de Viseu and the Polytechnic of Leiria, made official yesterday, September 22, at the Rectory of the University of Aveiro, the Digital Innovation Pole CONNECT5 in the presence of the President of IAPMEI, Francisco Sá.

The Digital Innovation Pole (CONNECT5) aims to support the digital transformation of SMEs and public administration. The operational strategy will enable the transfer of fundamental skills to the expansion and digital transformation of the target customers of CONNECT5 services, as well as the creation and strengthening of value chains in the European Union, essential for competitiveness and social cohesion at national and European level.

Francisco Sá, President of the Board of Directors of IAPMEI, said that it is a fundamental lever for the future of companies, and stressed the need to produce knowledge in a field that requires permanent changes.

It should be noted that the Digital Innovation Poles are collaborative networks that include specific digital skills centers, with the aim of disseminating and adopting digital technologies by companies and public administration, contributing to increasing the competitiveness of their processes, products and services. and services.
