At DIH CONNECT5, we help SMEs, regardless of their business sector, and public entities, namely municipalities, to achieve their digitization goals – supported by a set of tools, services, training opportunities and collaborative networks.

CONNECT5 is a Digital Innovation Hub focused on supporting the digital transformation of SMEs and public sector entities, with financial support from the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the Portuguese Republic and the European Union.

DIH CONNECT5 was awarded with the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission in 2022, being an integral part of the initial network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) promoted under the DEP - Digital Europe Programme.

CONNECT5 is coordinated by Cluster TICE.PT, involving entities specialized in the areas of information, communication and electronics technologies, namely, the Interface Centers, CeiiA and IT (Telecommunications Institute), the Colab DTx and the higher education institutions Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade da Beira Interior, University of Coimbra, University of Minho, University of Porto, Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Polytechnic Institute of Viseu and Polytechnic of Leiria.

In addition to the technological demonstration and test environments made available by the consortium members, CONNECT5, through members of the TICE.PT Cluster, will provide additional infrastructure and skills that will support your digital journey.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

CONNECT5 can support you in designing your strategic plan/roadmap for digital transformation, integrating short, medium and long term objectives, which support the evolution of your organization from a “more manual” initial situation to a target stage “ more digitized”.

CONNECT5 supports the training and qualification of human resources in digital skills, through seminars, catalog actions or in the design and provision of training tailored to specific needs.

3 - TEST
CONNECT5 provides the skills and test environments that allow demonstration, hands-on experimentation and "test-before invest" in new tools and solutions that support the digitalization of business processes.

4 - INVEST
CONNECT5 supports access to funding sources and to the network of business and academic partners that can contribute to accelerate the effective implementation of technologies and digital solutions.

CONNECT5 provides access to an innovation ecosystem where you can take advantage of synergies and relevant knowledge sharing, with potential impact on your digitization decisions.

What the Program Offers You​?

As an entity selected for the EDIH CONNECT5 "Missão Digitalizar" Program, you will be accompanied by our multidisciplinary team and our ecosystem of partners specialized in information, communication and electronics solutions and technologies, who will work alongside you to bring your digitization idea to reality and will give you the necessary boost to overcome new challenges on this journey that is Digital Transformation.

Each Mission selected by EDIH CONNECT5 will have non-refundable support of up to €30,000 in services, including:
