DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION:

An integrative and transversal proposal for the Ceramics and Glassware sectors, oriented to their critical competitiveness factors and aiming at improving their international positioning. Focusing on 4 central thematic areas – energy sustainability, circular economy and industrial symbioses, digital transition and capacity building – it invests in the development of new products, processes and services with high added value, based on new models of cross-sectoral industrial organization, thus ensuring a progression in the international value chain and focus on activities with greater added value.

The "EcoCeramics and Crystal of Portugal" Agenda is an integrative and transversal proposal for the Ceramics and Crystal sectors, oriented to their critical factors of competitiveness and aiming at an improvement of international positioning. It is structured around six strategic pillars, namely: energy transition; Decarbonisation; Circularity; digital transition; training and capacity building; and promotion and dissemination. This Agenda, led by Vista Alegre Atlantis, involves 30 representative partners of the value chain, including three business associations, 17 business entities and eight entities from the national scientific and technological system. The "EcoCeramics and Crystal of Portugal" Agenda is one of the 22 "Mobilizing Agendas and Green Agendas for Business Innovation" funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).
