After studying the publicly available information on the PRR's Mobilizing Agendas, identifying the TICE.PT members who take part in each one, and identifying the members' closest contacts on each agenda, TICE.PT's technical team began a cycle of meetings with these members in order to publicize the Gaia-X initiative and get to know the scope of our members' work on each agenda better.

The preparation of this initiative with our members had been underway since the last quarter of last year, and is part of a strategy to boost the activity of the Gaia-X Hub Portugal, based on an attempt to establish synergies with the work underway in each agenda.

After these contacts and with the support of the members, TICE.PT intends to address the agendas more directly, approaching their leaders in an attempt to spread the word more widely and raise awareness of the principles advocated by Gaia-X AISBL.

Most, if not all, of the Mobilizing Agendas will have activities that generate data, data that should be stored and processed in accordance with the best practices being defined for data spaces, and which could also benefit from following the principles being defined by Gaia-X.

In contact with multiple initiatives from the Lighthouse Gaia-X projects in different verticals, and with the other national Hubs, TICE.PT wants to promote bidirectional visibility between what is being done in this area in Portugal and what is being done in Europe, promoting synergies between national and international companies in order to extract value from this new free data market.

It should be remembered that in Portugal, TICE.PT is responsible for operationalizing and boosting the Gaia-X Hub Portugal, a joint initiative of the Secretary of State for the Digital Transition, Gaia-X AISBL and TICE.PT.
