At the end of October 2024, TICE.PT signed the new version of the Gaia-X Hub Establishment Agreement, developed during the first half of 2024 and designed to better establish and define the responsibilities and rights of the Gaia-X Hubs and the GAIA-X AISBL Association.

Under this new agreement, a set of criteria and points to be observed in the development of each of the hubs have been identified, which will be self-assessed and shared with the Gaia-X AISBL Association in order to identify a stage of development and better prepare ways of improving and evolving.

Gaia-X is one of the world's most important initiatives in defining a trusted architecture for the secure, sovereign and fair sharing of data.

TICE.PT thus maintains its commitment as the head of the Gaia-X Hub Portugal, renewing its commitment to building the new data economy.
