6th Gaia-X AISBL Summit in Portugal

After Helsinki in 2024, the 6th Gaia-X AISBL Summit will be held in Porto on 20 and 21 November. Gaia-X AISBL brings together a community of organisations around the common goal of boosting the European data economy, enabling the creation of common data spaces, in full alignment with the objectives of the EU data strategy, and building a common open standard for transparent, controllable and interoperable data infrastructures for the exchange of reliable data.

The Summit, which takes place annually, is Gaia-X's largest public event, and this year's theme is ‘Digital ecosystems in action’, highlighting real implementations of data spaces and exploring how Gaia-X is enabling federated and trusted infrastructures to drive AI, innovation and data sovereignty across Europe and beyond.

In addition to the plenary session, where presentations will be given on strategy and reference projects in the field of Data Spaces, a technical session will be held in parallel, where teams from Gaia-X and some Lighthouse projects will discuss new developments in detail.

Admission to the event is free and open to all interested parties, but prior registration is required.

This event is organised by Gaia-X AISBL, in partnership with  TICE.PT, Gaia-X Hub Portugal, Associação Porto Digital and the City of Porto.
