Data Spaces Symposium 2025
A new edition of the Data Spaces Symposium event, organised by the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) and the Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA), the joint alliance of Gaia-X, IDSA, FIWARE and BDVA, kicked off today in Warsaw, Poland, and will take place on 11 and 12 March during Polish ICT Week in 2025.
Following the huge success of March 2024, which welcomed more than 900 participants, this meeting will highlight the value of data sharing around the world, unlocking business opportunities and driving market impact and adoption.
Companies and business networks are expected to show how sectors such as industry, logistics, automotive, energy, mobility and others are adopting and exploiting the economic potential of data spaces. The event, which is truly global in scope, will show how countries on all continents are launching data spaces, how they are establishing data sharing governance and how they are ushering in a new era of transnational data economy. Europe will be in the spotlight, against the backdrop of European governance frameworks and pioneering Common European Data Spaces projects.
The Gaia-X and IDSA Associations have been heavily involved in organising this event, participating with expert speakers and actively animating the various dedicated sessions taking place over the two days.
In Portugal, the TICE.PT Cluster is responsible for the Gaia-X Hub Portugal, the IDSA Competence Centre Portugal and member of the DSSC Strategic Stakeholder Forum.
