TICE.PT at the X INTERNATIONAL ICT SECTOR FORUM 2024

On the 18th and 19th of June, the X International ICT Forum took place in Gijón, Spain, jointly organized by the ICT Cluster Asturias and ASTUREX.

Representing Cluster TICE.PT at this event was Pedro Roseiro, member of the Board of Directors, who was part of a panel of four speakers, whose objective was to present the TICE.PT in a 5-minute intervention. This intervention took place on June 18, between 12:20 pm and 1:30 pm.

The main objective of the event was to highlight the capacity of the Asturias ICT sector and the innovation of its solutions, seeking to increase the visibility of companies, attract international buyers and partners, as well as promote cooperation between companies and institutions in Asturias, Europe and Latin America.

The first day began with the official opening of the Forum on the 18th, at 9:30 am, in the AS5-HUB Building, in the Gijón Technology Park, with an Inaugural Conference given by the technology company SATEC. This was followed by technical and commercial presentations at the headquarters of some of the main companies and technological centres in Asturias by Asturian companies and invited visitors.

On the second day, Wednesday 19th June, individual meetings (B2B) were held between Asturias companies and the guests, an activity that marked the end of the Forum.

This year the participating countries were: Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, USA, Finland, Italy, Mexico, Peru and Portugal.
