Silicon Europe Alliance meets at SEMICON Europe 2024

TICE.PT was present on November 18th at SEMICON Europe 2024 in Munich, as part of its involvement in the Silicon Europe Alliance and the Silicon Eurocluster project that brings together the main clusters of this alliance. The Silicon Europe Alliance met during the SEMICON event where key topics were discussed to advance the alliance and contribute to maintaining Europe's sovereignty in the areas of microelectronics, components and systems. SEMICON also provided the perfect venue for the Silicon Eurocluster project to share its key results with partners and stakeholders. In this context, an open workshop was held, where participants gained insights into the tangible achievements of the Silicon Eurocluster project. This included the launch of a booklet with the 12 innovative projects financed and developed under the Eurocluster initiative and also the presentation of the results of the development of a Resilience and Business Continuity Plan, aimed at enabling SMEs in the sector to withstand potential adversities and adapt to new circumstances in the face of potential disruptions, notably in terms of the supply chain.
